The amount of amazing talent in Colorado needs a showcase and The Other Side Open Stage is going to be just that.

HOW IT WORKS:
Battle contestants will play 30 minute slots from 9-11. The winner of the battle plays again to close out the night.

Upon entry, patrons will receive tickets for voting. All you need to do is slay the crowd, bring the people and have them place their ticket in your box. Boxes are located on the stage.
Winners will also be judged on their ability to mix and hype the crowd. This is a music event and the expectation is to put on a live show.
Each week we have a panel of guest judges to help with the winner selection.
The winners of the battles will play the Winner's showcase on the first Tuesday of the following month. The winner will play a Sub.mission show.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO:
Please be there at 7:30 pm for set up and sound check. Please be on time. If you do not check in before 8:00 pm then your time slot will be forfeited. Please respond to this e-mail confirming the specifics of what equipment you will be using to perform.
We will provide house equipment which includes:
1 - DJM 800
2 - CDJ 1000
2 - Technic Turntables
*** If you are planning on using the turntables please bring your own: needles, slipmats, and headphones ***
The cover for the night is: 21 and up FREE before 10/ $5 after and 18 and up is $10 all night.
You will get one guest, please send their name with the response so that we can add them to the list. Please do not bring more than one person (your guest) with you for set up.
Remind your fans that they will receive a ticket upon entry - they must vote with the ticket by placing it in your designated box which will be located on the side of the stage.
We will announce the winner during the headliners set and if you would like you can play again to close out the night. Please let us know if you are able to play an hour set if you end up winning.
It would be very beneficial for you to use the event created on the Sub.mission Facebook page to promote yourself by inviting all of your friends.
